Johnson - Prewitt & Associates, Inc. (JPA) provides Professional Engineering and Surveying services. The company was incorporated in 1970 and reorganized in 1996. Mr. Prewitt founded the parent company in 1948 as M.M. Prewitt, Consulting Engineer. JPA is a local firm employing 10-15 people, depending on workload. Our clients include Farmers, Developers, and Local Governments. Over 98% of our projects are located within 50 miles of our office in Clewiston. Most of these projects are in Hendry, Glades, and Western Palm Beach Counties. JPA generally limits the range of our projects to the Western Lake Okeechobee and Caloosahatchee River Basin. JPA constructed its present office building in 1980, expanding the building in 1989 to a total of 4,500 square feet. JPA has the latest in computer technology and office equipment. JPA is equipped to conduct surveys and other fieldwork in wet and difficult terrain. Our goal is to meet our clients' time schedule and budget requirements.
